All orders are processed and shipped on the day they are received when the order reaches us by 5pm EST Monday through Friday during the cold months (mid September through mid May). However, we do not ship "over the weekend" in warm weather and switch to a "Summer shipping schedule" during those months,processing orders Monday through Thursday.
How much will it cost to ship my order?
It depends on the level of service that you select at checkout but we have made it simple and easy for you to calculate your prospective shipping costs. - Free Shipping is available for orders of $59 and up going to a single address. With this option, your order will be delivered by the 3rd business day. - With the Standard 2-Days Service, shipped to a single address, one item costs $14 and each additional item costs another $4. Delivery is completed by the 2nd business day. - With the Overnight Service, shipped to a single address, one item costs $21 and each additional item costs another $5. Delivery is completed the next business day. Please keep in mind that UPS charges us per package and that these prices apply to items shipped to a single address in one shipment. How will I know that my order has been shipped?
You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information directly from UPS once your order has shipped, as well as a delivery notification.
Do you ship during the Summer?
We ship Leonidas Belgian Chocolates year round but switch to a "Summer Shipping Schedule" mid May through late fall as WE DO NOT ship "over the weekend" during the warmer months. At that time, the orders placed with the Free Shipping and the Standard option after 5 pm EST on Wednesdays, and on the Overnight Service after 5 pm EST on Thursdays will not be shipped until the following Monday so that your chocolates do not sit in the heat in transit over the weekend.
Do you ship outside the US?

How late can I order during the holidays?
We recommend that in the winter months, especially during the Holidays, you order as early as possible. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by inclement weather in transit.
Can I order now and receive my shipment at a later date?

How can I get assistance if I need it?
Will I be required to pay Sales Tax?
With a physical presence in both New York and New Jersey, we are required to collect Sale Tax in those two states at the rate of 8.875% on orders shipped to addresses in NY and at the rate of 6.625% on orders shipped to NJ. NY and NJ Sale Tax do not apply to orders that are shipped to any other state.
What if I made an error in my order?
Please contact us immediately! We understand that mistakes happen and we'll do everything in our power to make the necessary corrections before shipping. However, once the items have shipped we cannot make any further revisions to your order. Common customer errors include: entering incorrect addresses, selecting the wrong item or quantity, etc. Please double check your order carefully before submitting!
